Susan L. Zonailo

Susan L. Zonailo offers her clients many years of diverse business experience and a keen eye for design. She studied Fashion Design at The Otis Parsons Art Institute in Los Angeles and then designed clothing and jewelry along with award winning window displays for her store “The Purple Gherkin Boutique” in Vancouver. Ready for a new challenge Susan completed an associate degree in Interior Design and spent several years working with clients designing and decorating new homes and creating floral displays and staging for residential and commercial projects. Throughout the years Susan planned many events which included several Weddings, Graduations, Banquets, Fashion Shows, Product Promotions and Theatre Productions. Susan was introduced to the film industry when her daughter began an acting career at eight years old, Susan loved the industry and the creativity that encompasses it. Susan began to scout talent and worked with another agent learning the business before opening Madison Talent Management in 2003. Susan was instrumental in helping create rules and regulations for children working in film in Vancouver. During this time Susan also produced a comedy show” Classholes” which consisted of both on stage live theatre and filmed segments, she created all the sets and costumes for this show which won second place in 2008 at The International Comedy Show in Los Angeles. Susan also designed sets and wardrobe for several short films. From 2008- 2010 Susan wrote and taught a college course in Talent and Event Management via video conferencing at The Stenburg College and The Centre for Arts and Technology. Susan closed Madison Talent Management in 2010 to care for her elderly parents. Susan kept creative and redesigned the interiors on several yachts and worked on her skills of faux painting and refinishing furniture. In 2015 Susan went back to work in the film industry as a buyer and designer, with one of her specialties being designing florals for weddings and sets. Susan also has a large collection of antiques, taxidermy and interesting items which are available for rentals and has an abundance of knowledge for sourcing almost anything.
